IMPORTANT!

The game saves itself when the scene changes and when you quit the game via exit button. If you press alt + f4 your game won't be saved. And If you click on "New Game" button on the main menu, it overrides your current save data. So, doing so will reset your progression, therefore it is advised only if you want to start a new game.

-You can find your save file under local low, Morte Dara file, in appdata. 

How to save?

RoD has a auto save feature that saves the game whenever a scene changes or when the player quits the game.

How to earn gold?

There are many ways to earn gold in RoD. You can step in to the arena and win yourself a battle or you can work under other npcs to earn gold.

How to get new items?

You can discover new items from side quests as rewards or be rewarded with a new item when a boss is defeated. Also, you can always pay a visit to Ellie’s shop to buy some new gear.

How do items work?

There are many types of items in RoD that can be used for specific actions or needs.

-Weapons: Grants the player some buffs and a unique move-set.

-Armors and garment: Buffs the player’s attributes when worn.

-Key items: Needed to finish a quest line or open up a new area.

Combat

RoD’s combat system is unique to itself. You have to read your opponents moves carefully and choose your strategy wisely. If you play all your cards right, you can win every battle.

Health and Energy

Health points show how much damage you can endure before you lose a battle, you can improve this attribute of Destor by wearing different sets of armor or participating in side quests.

Energy shows how much cards/moves you can apply every turn. If your energy is below 0, you can’t click on end turn button. Energy is a vital attribute of Destor as it can decide if you are going to win or lose. Use your energy wisely and choose the correct strategy. You can improve this attribute of Destor by wearing different sets of armor or participating in side quest.

Inn

-You can sleep in Heelstomp inn if you need to refresh your energy points.

-You can work under Zia to earn some gold.

-You can participate in some sidequest by working under Zia.

Ellie’s Shop

Ellie provides basic equipment and many other items to player.

If you want to improve your attributes, you should definitely pay her a visit.

Sandsworth

This is the main hub of the first realm of the game. Many areas and places branch out from here.

Colosseum

You can participate in fights and unlock many features of the game by defeating your opponents.

You can also earn great amount of money by defeating your enemies.

Controls

Currently, RoD only requires two keys at the moment.

Left click on mouse: The main input that the game can be played.

ESC button: In a battle, if you need to pause the game.

Move-sets

-Move-sets are a defining aspect of RoD.

-Every weapon has it’s own unique move-set providing the player with different approach for battles.

-Every weapon Destor equips grants him different moves. It is wise to choose the correct weapon to gain some advantage against your opponents.

-Every move-set has different number of moves you can use.

Enemies

In Rod, your enemies will have different fighting styles and different techniques they apply in battles. You have to watch your enemies carefully and understand how they fight. They also use different methods of humiliating their opponents.

You must observe their fight patterns and also you can learn clues about how they fight, around the city.

Navigating in Sandsworth

You can click on any building to enter and then click on the doors inside the interiors to get out.  

Tips

-Your enemies may change their tactics depending on your performance in battle. (If you are doing well against them, they will use different sets of skills.)

-All enemies have S-Moves (Special/Sexual-Moves) that they take advantage of. If you are caught one of these moves, your match is at high risk.
